Ability to do 'Country specific' searches from results page
You know how you give users the option to select the country that they would like to search within... Well, after you have done the search within the specified country it reverts back to a global (google) search or a givle search. Perhaps if the country selected could retain it's position as the search criteria that would be JUST AWESOME!

A brighter & better graphics designed (simple & nice)
Majority people like bright color for a start up page. That, i dont need to explain why. A simple looking logo+background would help a lot. Because the site is currently so dark and looks so.. cheap.

When in search results able to switch to image search.
After I've searched for something if I want to find a picture of it I don't want to to have to go to the main page and do another search

Include google scholar and I'd use it all the time!
I use google scholar for a large part of my researching, so without it as an option on Givle i will revert to 'google' for must of my searching.

Make the website fully web standards compliant
web standards compliance means that Givle could be viewed on a larger range of devices ie PDA's and by being with accessibility issues (ie those with limited sight) and also ensures the site is well indexed by Google, and also is just good practice!

put a game on the homepage. That would make nearly everyone go on your new search thing.
Put like a little flash game on the page so then lots of people will go on it and play it and would not be stuffed going to google so will go with you guys.

create a givle toolbar for your browser
so people can download it and use it in their browsers (ie msn, yahoo, google toolbars) right next to the address bar. It could be the perfect way for people to increase their efficiency while browsing but also give back!

Make it so that Givle image search also has white displays
When selecting image search only the black option is avaiable :)

Extra search options once searched
Give the option to switch to images, news, etc search once already entered a search option, al la Google.com. Sometimes this is a deal breaker when choosing to use Givle or not.

Email form to forward to contacts a little blurb about Givle
i want to be able to forward to friends and contacts,a little blurb
about Givle, what it does and what it supports. I know I could do this myself (and I will) but others may have same inclination and find this useful0 votes
